Technical cookies and browser storage
The current Easycast application uses cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, language selection and screen pairing. It does not include advertising trackers or audience analytics cookies. We do not show a consent banner for strictly necessary storage. Any future optional tracking must be assessed and, where required, remain inactive until you consent.
Sign-in session
JSESSIONID links your browser to a server session and supports sign-in and request security. It is a session cookie; the default server inactivity timeout is eight hours. Signing out ends the authenticated session. Deployment settings may change the timeout.
Language preference
The local-storage entry easycast.language remembers your selected language. It has no automatic expiry and remains until replaced or cleared in your browser. Older flexcast.* entries may be migrated to the current names.
Screen pairing
Screen players use easycast.viewer.* and other easycast.* player credentials in local storage to recognise a paired browser and reconnect it to its screen. These entries have no automatic browser expiry. Clearing them can require pairing the screen again; revoked credentials no longer grant access.
Your browser controls
You can remove cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in or screen playback. These controls do not delete the account or content stored on Easycast servers. Contact help@easycast.be with questions.
